In practice the payment picture is clear-cut: money goes in via Bancontact or Bancontact Pay, and what comes out lands on your account. What you may still know as Payconiq has been Bancontact Pay since March 2026.
Bancontact Pay allows €1500 per payment, with €2500 as the daily limit. Deposits land instantly; on your account it usually appears after one to three banking days, on top of the processing time on the operator's side.

What is asked at registration
